Children of the community

Helping children is a central concern of Leopolis. The number of children living under exceptionally difficult circumstances grows steadily. These are handicapped children, children who suffer from debilitating illnesses, children who are orphans or half-orphans. These are the children most in need of outside care and support. Currently in Lviv and the surrounding region we look after some 150 children.

Kindergarten

The Jewish kindergarten in Lviv is a project most dear to us. Children of ages between three and seven visit the facility. We are able to employ two teachers for Hebrew lessons, Jewish history, and religion. Thus in a playfully structured atmosphere the children are made aware of their culture and tradition. And they of course miss none of their daily meals...
