Children of the community
Helping children is especially close to our hearts. Many children grow up in very difficult circumstances: children with disabilities or chronic illnesses, orphans and half-orphans. They need care the most. We currently support around 100 children in Lviv and the surrounding area.
The Jewish kindergarten in Lviv
With great dedication, a wonderful kindergarten was built and lovingly expanded and improved over the years. Here children aged three to seven experienced their culture and traditions through play, learned Hebrew, Jewish history and religion, and received several meals a day.
Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the kindergarten has had to close temporarily because of the bombings and for safety reasons.
Our help for children in need on site nevertheless continues.
